A Sensual Gift For Your Valentine

Stripping for your lover can be a wonderful gift and give him fantasies to last long after your sensual performance has ended. You needn't have a perfect body - just dim the lights, turn on a seductive slow jam and seduce him with your striptease. Remember, your lover probably has a good imagination - so just be confident and strip with style. Although your man will certainly enjoy your show, you are likely to become just as aroused by your own sexy performance.

The Arrangement...

Choose your music carefully, make sure it has a beat and tempo that will excentuate your sensual movement. Practice taking off your clothes in front of a full length mirror to get comfortable with yourself, your body and your erotic side.

Choose your clothes carefully, avoid fidgety fastenings. Wear enough clothes to prolong the performance but only those that can be easily removed. Your best choice would be a blouse, skirt, bra, suspender stockings and high-heeled shoes. A scarf or boa can also add a sexy element and teasing accessory.

Kiss and stroke him a little to get him excited and interested. After this, you are not going to touch him until the whole striptease is over.

The Dance...

Slowly undo or lift up your blouse in a teasing way. Then turn round with your back to your lover and remove your blouse slowly. Use caution removing any garment over your head - it rarely looks elegant, and it may ruin your hair. (Although, that may add to the fantasy.) Now throw your blouse over to him, revealing your sexy bra or corset.

Undo the waistband of your skirt and do a slow "shimmy", letting it fall to the ground. The whole routine should be done slowly and seductively. Tease him as the skirt slips down your hips to reveal your panties, suspenders and stockings. Next, take off your shoes very slowly. Then sit on a high stool or chair and undo your stockings from the suspenders, one at a time. Roll each stocking down to the toe before slipping it off.

In your dance emphasise your breasts, because they are to be the next centre of attention. Remove one bra strap then the other, and with your back to your man, undo the clip from behind. Turning around, toss the bra to him with a flourish.

Save the best for last. With your back to your partner again, edge down your last remaining piece of the mystery in time to the music. Let them fall to the ground, pick them up and drape them over him. Finally, stroke and caress yourself all over your body. Go where the music and your desire take you.

Enjoy your striptease performance, you can be sure your partner will!

Before The Sexy Performance

Here a are some tips to always practice to ensure your performance goes without a hitch...

~A Sexy Alter Ego~
Common to many forms of dancing and performance a stage name allows you the freedom to act as someone else without the cares and concerns of your everyday self. It provides empowerment and an identity for your dance and creativity.

~Consult a Physician~
As with any exercise regimen it is important to have clearance from a trained medical professional before starting.

~Pole Placement~
It is important to place your pole in an open area. It should be at least 4ft and preferably further from any object or wall.

~Keep Your Pole Clean~
A dirty pole can be dangerous and is more difficult to perform advanced moves on. Keep windex, rubbing alcohol, or vodka around and clean it regularly during every workout.

~Never Wear Lotions or Oils~
Lotions and oils will not only reduce your ability to stick to the pole they will coat your pole and make it difficult to clean and dangerous to use.

~Clothing~
Clothing choices should allow for your arms, legs, and stomach to have full contact with the pole. This will improve your ability to adhere to the pole and perform tricks.

~Always Warm Up and Cool Down~
It is important to warm up and cool down before and after any exercise. This will prepare your body for the workout, help prevent injury and insure that you get the most benefit from your time on the pole.

~Shoulders Back And Down~
When performing pole spins always keep your shoulders back and down. This will help to prevent injury.

~Use a Spotter and a Mat~
When performing inversions or any other move that you are not certain of use a spotter and a mat. The spotter will not only provide a safety mechanism but can provide feed back regarding your form during tricky moves.

~Wear Wrist Cuffs~
You can reduce wrist burns by wearing wrist cuffs. This will reduce the friction of your wrists on the pole and reduce your potential for injury.

Are you ready for a Spin?

Don't worry, we will take it slow...and you can take as long as you need to. A lot of the fun in pole dancing is getting there, the journey to "getting it." And, Oh the Thrill when you finally Nail It!

Let's get to it...

Princess – Stand with the pole on your strong side. With your strong arm holding the pole above your head and your other hand across your body holding on to the pole at chest level, hook the pole with your inside leg on the inside of your knee. Falling out and around, bring your outside leg up to meet your inside leg. Pull in slightly with the hooked leg to speed your momentum.

See, now that wasn't too bad. So, I'm also going to include the "Bodywave." It's a great transition move, a move that can get you from one position to another. And you can make the wave as slow as you like. Actually, the slower you go it works on your body control and strength building-on the way to fabulous abs. And as with all the moves...Don't forget to breath!

Body wave – Keeping your back and butt against the pole, slightly bend your knees while sliding down the pole. Thrust away from the pole, starting with your hips, then abdomen, then chest, then head.

Enjoy!

Pole Flirt Moves

Here is a rountine to get your pole dancing feet wet. Take the moves one at a time, start slow. Go at your own pace. Try not to over think the moves, sometimes you "get it" when you aren't even trying. These moves are best served with slow sensual music. Remember to point your toes and really exaggerate the moves once you get the just of them-for dramatic effect and the work-out. Here we go...

Walk around the pole – Grab high on the pole with your strong hand. With a straight arm, lean out slightly and walk around your pole. This can be done with short or long steps, slow or quick steps. Remember to sway your hips dramatically.

Pirouette – Grab high on the pole with your strong hand. While walking around the pole, step with your inside foot and twirl under your straight arm (smelling your armpit). End with your back on the pole.

Pole slide – After the pirouette with your upper back touching the pole, reach above your head with your strong hand and behind your back with your other hand. Lift your dominant leg straight out front while pointing your toes. Then place it down out-stretched about 16 inches in front of the pole. Leaning against the pole and bearing the weight on your planted foot, kick your other leg and, using the strength in your thigh and upper hand, slowly slide down the pole until you’re sitting.

Roll over to a crawl – From the seated position of the pole slide, roll over your straightleg on to all fours. Now slowly crawl around the pole. Remember to be sexy.

Get up sexy – Crawl to the pole and stop when it is at your weaker side. Sit back on your heels and slowly trace the lines of your thighs and waist with both hands while doing a hip roll. Grab the pole with your weak hand at head level. Lift your inside foot and place it directly under you. Then lift your outside foot and place it directly under you as well. You should be in a squatting position, still sitting back on your heels. Place your outside hand on your outside knee and push your knees apart. Stand while first pushing through your outside hip then stand straight.

Enjoy

Welcome to My Sensual Dance World

Fearless, adventurous, woman, wife, mother, fashion enthusiast, shopping guru and I've always been a dancer. Music seems to go directly to my soul and move my body, it's as natural as breathing. When I met my first pole I was a bit apprehensive. The music took control of my body and the pole became my partner; it has been there for me ever since, through all the ups, downs and spins in between. There is a confidence I've gained from pole dancing. My body moves like I never knew it could. Between my strong, solid partner and my soft, fluid body there is a daring and sensual dance, only I can perform the way I do.

In this blog you will see how to express the art of pole dancing with your own style. Need to find your style? I will add a bit of how to do that, too. Hello and welcome to the show... Enjoy
